Coal Yard Summer Fair Saturday 18th July from 1:30pm to 6:30pm

The Old Coal Yard, Hambledon, Surrey, GU8 4DR (next to The Merry Harriers Pub). Just outside Godalming, Surrey.

Parking in the Coal Yard, Hambledon Church and Hambledon Nursery School. More info and map below.


ENTERTAINMENT

🎤 Live music from a fabulous Acoustic Duo, Dragonfly Music, from 2:30pm to 4:30pm.


🎨 Face Painting until 5pm.

FOOD & DRINK

We have an irresistible selection of food and drink ...


🍸 Ian’s bar will be open at the resident distillery Village Spirit Collective serving cocktails, Pimms, Aperol Spritz, gin, beer, fizz and zero options for the drivers and kids!


🥟 Snack to Snack who are a recent addition to the Coal Yard will be showcasing their catering menu.


🍔 Three Cuts Burgers will be cooking up delicious fresh loaded burgers and fries.


🧁 Flourish & Flavour will have moreish sweet bakes for all the family including cakes and tray bakes.


☕️ Just Flat Whites will have a selection of hot and cold drinks.

Detailed Parking Info & Safety

🚗 For those who have been before you’ll know that parking at the Coal Yard is limited. So our overflow parking on 18th July from 1:30pm is at …


🅿️ Hambledon Nursery (to the right of the Merry Harriers car park - please do not park in the pub car park if you are just attending the event).


🅿️ Hambledon Church (Church Lane GU84DS) - carefully drive up Church Lane (first left after the nursery) and follow the road round to the right where a gate to field parking will be available). You can then take a lovely short walk through the footpath located to the right past the church as you walk back down (you don’t need to walk on the road).


🚗 Please take care when crossing roads and be patient when waiting for parking. Do not block access and be mindful of the pub customers and residents. Please car share where possible.


🚲🚶🏽‍♀️🚂 If you can cycle or walk even better! There is a lovely stroll through the woods that leads to the path next to the pub if you’d like to travel by train from Witley Station.
